Invest in Opatija - The pearl of Adriatic
sea
Opatija is one of the main resorts on what is called the Opatija Riviera

There runs a sequence
of 8 tourist resorts, the attraction of each one complementing
those of the others – Opatija, Icici, Ika, Lovran, Medveja, M.Draga,
Moscenice, Brsec
Opatija is the grand dame of Croatian tourism.Tourism
here started in 1844 when Hignio Scarpa, a patrician from Rijeka
built a big villa.
It was the most fashionable seaside resort during the Austro-Hungarian
Empire and European royalty also stayed there,
as did famous celebrities such as singer Gigli, the dancer Isadora
Duncan, and the composers Mahler, Puccini and Lehar.

The main toruist
attractions in the area the old fishing villages Icici and Ika,
Lovran with its old center and modern hotels, Medveja and
Moscenicka Draga with large and sandy beautiful beaches, and the
medieval towns on the nearby hills - Brsec and Moscenice.
